Simple site counts
The existing website analytics store daily totals for pages and actions, without names, email addresses, IP addresses or browsing profiles. Counts represent actions, not unique people.
Community questions and voting
A signed essential cookie identifies this browser for one year so you can change votes and find your submissions. The database stores a protected browser identifier, votes, questions, optional nickname and context, review decisions and production updates. Your question is saved as unlisted: you and anyone with its private share link can see it. Approval makes it public. Hidden and rejected ideas are unavailable through shared links. Your contributor credit remains with an approved question and the resulting video. Please don’t include private information. Clearing cookies removes this browser’s access to its submission history.
Short-lived protected network identifiers limit abuse; raw IP addresses aren’t saved by the idea board. Optional browser storage remembers your confirmation and an anonymous participation session. Voting and submission history still work if that storage is blocked, provided essential cookies are allowed.
Participation measurements
The board measures anonymous sessions, form starts, submissions, participation, video-link clicks and Subscribe-link clicks. It doesn’t include question text, nicknames, IP addresses or voter identifiers in measurement records. Detailed session and event records are removed after 30 days by daily maintenance; aggregate totals remain. Owner and preview activity is excluded. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn off optional measurements and visit alerts. Clicks don’t prove a video view or subscription.
Owner sign-in
Brad’s owner desk uses a passkey and a secure sign-in cookie lasting up to 14 days. The website stores the passkey’s public verification key and temporary sign-in records. Private keys and biometric information stay with the authenticator. Owner setup requires one-use activation of Brad’s exact browser; signing out revokes that session. Expired sign-in and setup records are removed by daily maintenance.
Private phone alerts
Only phones paired from Brad’s authorized owner desk can receive alerts. Pairing QR codes expire after 10 minutes and work once. The site stores each phone’s push subscription, alert preferences and delivery-service status until it is disconnected or expires. Alerts contain a generic visit or submission notice and an owner review link. Push services, including Google’s service on Android, process delivery information. Permission can be revoked in the phone’s browser settings; Brad can also disconnect a phone at the owner desk.
YouTube and other sites
Video thumbnails load from YouTube. The embedded YouTube player loads when you press play and may then process information under Google’s privacy policy. Links to Discord, YouTube and other services take you to those services and their privacy practices apply. Hosting providers may separately process network information to deliver and protect the site.
